One email a week, built the way this site is built: new sea buckthorn studies read for you and graded honestly, price checks on the products we track, and no hype. Free, and easy to leave.
What lands in your inbox
New research, read for you. When a sea buckthorn trial publishes, we read the paper, check the design and the dose, and tell you what it actually found, including the nulls. You get the verdict in plain language, the same standard as our research hub.
Price checks. We track the products from our brand reviews and flag genuine price moves on the ones we already recommend, so a good week to buy does not pass you by.
Site updates. New guides and major revisions, briefly. The benefits hub shows the kind of evidence grading that lands in each issue.
How often, and how it feels
Weekly. One email, a few minutes of reading, no daily drip and no urgency theater. If a week has nothing worth your time, we would rather skip it than pad it. And because our readers compare notes, every issue ends with the one question readers asked us most that week, answered straight.
Leaving is one click
Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately, no exit survey and no “are you sure” maze. We handle your address under our privacy policy: it is used for the newsletter and never sold.

A sample issue, skeleton and all
A typical week has three parts. First, one study read and graded: what it tested, at what dose, in how many people, and what it found, including when it found nothing. Second, the money section: price moves on the products we track, flagged only when a move is real, not when a brand wants attention. Third, the reader question of the week, answered with the same evidence rules as the site. No filler section exists to make the email longer, and we keep the reading time under five minutes, because an email you finish is worth more than an archive you meant to read.
What we will never send
No daily deals. No countdown timers. No sponsored blasts where a brand pays to borrow our voice. No breathless subject lines about miracles. The site earns through the affiliate model described on the about page, and the newsletter’s job is to be worth opening, not to be opened at any cost.
Who writes it
The same small editorial team that writes the site, under the same rules in the editorial policy. A claim in an email carries the same evidence grade it would carry on a page, and a product mentioned in an email was scored by the same rubric. If the email ever reads softer than the site, something slipped, and readers are encouraged to say so.
Who it is for
Readers who take sea buckthorn and want to keep up without reading journals, shoppers waiting for an honest price check before restocking, and the quietly curious who like one plant explained properly. Health professionals forward it to patients sometimes, which we take as the best compliment available.
Between issues
The library grows weekly. The research hub collects every study we have graded, the tools page runs the numbers yourself any day of the week, and the glossary translates the label jargon. Unsubscribing later costs one click, so the risk of trying an issue is low.
The fine print
Your address goes to the email list and nowhere else, per the privacy policy. We do not rent it, sell it, or lend it to a partner brand, because there are no partner brands.
Frequently asked questions
Is the newsletter really free?
Yes. One email a week, no paid tier, no upsell sequence. The site earns through affiliate commissions disclosed on the relevant pages, so the newsletter itself never needs to sell you anything. And leaving is one click in any issue, with no exit survey.
